2/26/08 Jay Chenoweth (age 45, son of Dan Chenoweth and stepson of Janet)

Jay is battling 2 kinds of lymphoma now, and is hospitalized currently at MD Anderson in Houston. 

Jay and his wife, Mary, have 2 sons--John ,18 and William 13. Jay's brother, Scott, was a pilgrim on Walk #33. Should you desire to contact Dan, his email address is: danchen@twsco.com

2/26/08 Family of A.B. Leonard Rev. A.B. Leonard passed away in mid-February 2008.  A.B. was a very enthusiastic member of the HNEC community, attending his Walk at age 84.  
1/22/08 Family of Pat Curtin Pat Curtin, husband of Anne Curtin, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2008.  Both Pat and Anne have been very active in Emmaus, Kairos, and Kairos Outside.
12/28/07 Walk to Emmaus in Belize. The Houston area has an opportunity to be part of an effort to "birth" an Emmaus community in Belize.  Please pray for leadership for this effort and for the hearts of many here to step forward and be the hands and feet of Christ to our brothers and sisters in Belize.  More information will be posted on the website in the near future.
12/28/07 Frances (Frankie) Irwin and family Frankie is on life support at this time.  She has been a long-time member of Spring Woods UMC and attended her Walk at the Cursillo Center in 1994.
12/28/07 Jeremy McMeekan Pray that Jeremy would come to know Christ in a deeper way and that the love between Amy and Jeremy would grow stronger through Christ.
12/28/07 Rev. Kathy Kershaw and family Prayers for Kathy in the recent loss of her mother and in the ongoing care needs of her father.
9/10/07 Russell Morris, uncle of Judy Mackey Russell has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
9/10/07 David - son of friends of Carl (Walk 21) and Charla (Walk 24) Anthony.  Complete healing from cancer.  
7/21/07 Tom Joplin Tom (son-in-law of Maxine Cornwell) is being treated for AML (acute myeloid leukemia), a particularly serious form of leukemia. He was diagnosed on Feb. 14, and is going to get a stem cell transplant as soon as he is able to complete the required protocol.
