Jay is battling 2 kinds of lymphoma now, and is hospitalized currently at MD Anderson in Houston. Jay and his wife, Mary, have 2 sons--John ,18 and William 13. | 12/28/07 | Walk to Emmaus in Belize. | The Houston area has an opportunity to be part of an effort to "birth" an Emmaus community in Belize. Please pray for leadership for this effort and for the hearts of many here to step forward and be the hands and feet of Christ to our brothers and sisters in Belize. | 7/21/07 | Tom Joplin | Tom (son-in-law of Maxine Cornwell) is being treated for AML (acute myeloid leukemia), a particularly serious form of leukemia. He was diagnosed on Feb. 14, and is going to get a stem cell transplant as soon as he is able to complete the required protocol. He is very ill.
